The Knockout Stage of the M6 World Championship tournament is still ongoing but on the advanced server of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) game, there are already adjustments being made. Patch Notes 1.9.42 was released on the same day as the start of the playoffs Knockout Stage of the M6 tournament. This patch update reverted some of the previous adjustments made exclusively to the test server while also adjusting Fanny and Irithel. Here are the adjustments to those two heroes along with the details on the reverted changes to Alucard, Selena, and Cici.

1. Fanny nerf

Over time, the increase in Fanny’s strength after the changes exceeded expectations, making her a bit too mobile. Therefore, the game slightly adjusted her Energy Regen to achieve a more balanced experience.

Energy Regen: 5 >> 4

In the hands of a great Fanny player, she is a top pick hero because of her unmatched mobility. The game has been trying to strengthen Fanny to be on par with the meta heroes despite some good counter-picks against her. The game felt that the adjustment on her energy regen has made her too mobile so the game reduced her base Energy Regen attribute.

2. Irithel buff

Basic Attack Base Damage during Ultimate: 120-190 >> 120-200

Even before this buff, Irithel is a viable pick but is still not on par with the likes of Bruno and thus, the game adjusted her ultimate skill. The basic attack base damage during ultimate is now stronger at max level. This seems a small buff with that extra 10 damage but that could be what would make Irithel be able to be on the same tier as Bruno.

3. Reverted Changes

Alucard - Reverted most changes from the previous patch except for Skill 1 adjustments.
Selena - Revert all changes from the previous patch.
Cici - [Skill 1] (~) Reverted all previous changes.

These are all of what’s written in the hero adjustments section of the latest advanced server Patch Notes 1.9.42. It is noticeable that there was no adjustment to hero Lukas which is projected to be released in the original server at the 2nd half of December 2024. There are still some days, if not more than a week, before his release so Lukas might still receive a final adjustment before debuting in the global server. It is also likely that there will be a huge update in the test server after the M6 tournament.
